My Mission Is to Be Light: The Story Behind “Desprogramados”
(A personal chronicle)
For years, I carried a question with me like a gentle shadow:
What is my mission in this life?
Sometimes it appeared in the middle of deep conversations; other times, in complete silence, when the noise of the world faded and only my inner voice remained. I always felt that something was missing, as if the answer were right there… in front of me… but not yet fully revealing its shape.
Over time, and after many paths traveled —both inner and outer— I came to understand something I can now say with clarity:
my mission is to be light.
Not a light that blinds or imposes.
A light that accompanies.
That invites us to see differently.
That awakens questions.
That opens paths.
Radio: Where It All Began
I was 13 years old when I first stepped into a radio booth.
That space became my first spiritual home. It was there that I discovered communication is not just about transmitting messages: it’s about connecting souls. Leaving traces. Touching inner strings.
Radio taught me that a sincere voice can travel miles and arrive exactly where it needs to be. And it also revealed something deeper: that the search for truth always begins with a brave question.

Discomfort as a Compass
From a very young age, I felt that inherited belief systems never quite fit me. It wasn’t rebellion without cause; it was an inner restlessness. Rigid structures, unquestionable dogmas, prefabricated truths… none of them managed to silence my need to understand more.
That discomfort —which many see as a problem— was always my compass.
It pushed me to read, to investigate, to connect dots, to question what seemed obvious.
To look at life through a magnifying glass, but also through the heart.
And that constant search slowly shaped a path I didn’t even know I was building.
Australia: The Journey That Turned Me Into Someone Else
Years later, life took me to Australia.
Leaving my country transformed me in every sense: mentally, emotionally, spiritually. Distance forced me to face myself. Circumstances challenged me to grow. And the people who accompanied me on that journey left deep marks that I still honor today.
Australia taught me that I can reinvent myself.
That I can be stronger than I think.
That life has layers that only reveal themselves when you dare to step out of your comfort zone.
It was there that I confirmed something I had always sensed:
I am not a common person.
I see the world differently, I feel differently, I move differently.
And instead of trying to fit in, I learned to celebrate that authenticity.
To love that difference.
To embrace the fact that I am made to seek light… and to share it.
The Birth of “Desprogramados”
With all these experiences combined —radio, questions, travels, learnings— I understood that I needed to create a space that represented all of it. A place that was honest, unfiltered, and fearless.
That’s how Desprogramados was born.
Not as just another digital project, but as an act of personal coherence.
A space to talk about what few dare to touch, to question what is established, to break narratives, to explore spirituality without dogma, and to reclaim curiosity as a tool for freedom.
It is a space for people who feel, as I do, that the world needs less noise and more awareness.
The Mission I Embrace Today
In a world saturated with information but starving for depth, my mission is clear:
To share light.
To deprogram in order to liberate.
To invite others to look beyond what we were always told.
This is my story.
My path.
My chronicle of searching.
And if you are reading this, perhaps you are also ready to awaken to a new way of seeing life.
Welcome to Desprogramados.
This is where we begin to light the way.
